Even though I have not been traveling long distances lately I still get out locally as much as I can. With this shot I just headed out to one of my favorites places in the area which is Fort Pickens on the far West end of Pensacola Beach Florida. Not only is the fort a great place to visit and photograph it’s also a good place to photograph wildlife especially birds like this Great Blue Heron. If you are in the area you most definitely want to put this place on your bucket list,
