Sunset At The Beach

One of my many Pensacola Beach sunsets captured during a golden hour. This shot was captured with the Sony A7M3 using the FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM lens. The handheld shot had camera settings of 1/30 sec at f/22, ISO 200.
As I hiked along the shoreline I was out hiking with just the Sony ZV-1. It was a cloudy afternoon along the shoreline on the grounds of Naval Live Oaks Nature Preserve (North Side) in Gulf Breeze Florida during the late afternoon. Handled shot captured with the Sony ZV-1 with camera settings of 1/160 sec at f/5.6, ISO 125.
Camera used for this handheld shot was the Sony A75 with using the FE 70-200mm F4.0 Macro OSS II, + 2X teleconverter. For this handheld shot camera setting were 1/3200 sec at f/8.0, ISO 1600. Post processing done with Adobe Lightroom Classic.
To capture this shot of the Brown Pelican during the late afternoon I used the Sony A6700 with the Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II lens. This handheld shot was done on the grounds of Fort Pickens located of the far West end of Pensacola Beach Florida.
During the morning I found this Brown Pelican more the happy to pose for the camera. With his shot I used the Sony A6700 with the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II lens. Camera setting was 1/4000 sec at f/6.3 with ISO 500. This was a handheld shot. I mainly use Adobe Lightroom Classic for my post processing, power with this edit I used the new updated ON1 Photo Raw 2024.5.
When traveling you don’t need fancy cameras. While hiking on the ground of Blackwater River State Park I captured this shot using the iPhon 15 Pro Max.
Even though I love to travel all over the US I also enjoy just doing local travel. A couple of weeks ago on a Sunday morning I decided to do just that as I headed just east of where I currently reside in Gulf Breeze, Florida to Destin, Florida and the Harborwalk Village. It’s less than an hour drive, of course it depends on traffic. However this time of year (February) is the off season so traffic was not bad. To get there I drive along Hwy 98 which takes me through another cool place, Fort Walton Beach. Destin is located about a 20 minute drive from Fort Walton Beach….
If you are ever traveling to NW Florida one of the thing to take advantage of in the area are the sunsets. The area along the beach gets some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see especially at Pensacola Beach. Oh remember to bring your camera to save the memories.
